To ensure that this will not happen, we will reinforce the structure before removing the trabecular steel pipe. In a narrow space, if the new structure reinforcement, will increase the difficulty of welding, welding quality becomes more difficult to control, the most reliable program is to transform the existing structure.
The steel joint structure is composed of connecting steel plate and baffle plate. Part of the baffle plate structure is transformed and the baffle plate is changed into pure "h" type structure (the original small stiffening plate is removed). The upper flange plate is the outer ring connection steel plate, the web plate is the baffle plate, and the lower flange plate is the inner ring connection steel plate.
For the whole circle of steel joints, the baffle we modified involves four areas of the top wall, two areas of the side wall and seven areas of the bottom wall. The baffle structure is welded before the temporary support pipe is removed (or partially removed), and the trabecula is strengthened to avoid the failure of water stop in the cavity.
Through the optimization of steel connector connecting steel plate, the suspension of connecting steel plate and the transformation of diaphragm structure, the workload and construction difficulty of on-site welding were reduced, the safety of on-site structure was improved, and the road was paved for the subsequent concrete pouring of the tunnel and the completion of the tunnel.
